How do I search by citation?
If you know the citation of the case that you are looking for, you can type it into the search box at the top of JustisOne to search directly for that case. You do not have to worry about using brackets or capital letters when searching by citation as our intelligent technology will still recognise that you are looking for a citation. Our predictive search feature will bring up suggestions based on what you have typed in. If you see the title of the cases you are looking for, you can select it to add this to the search, otherwise press enter to search only by what you have typed.
Once you make the search, we will bring up the exact match along with any other cases that have mentioned the citation within them. The results will be based on your jurisdiction settings (which can be changed at any point using the settings cog at the bottom left hand side of the JustisOne platform), so if you do not find the case you are expecting please double check your main jurisdiction settings to ensure that you have not excluded it.
